Basic afghan stitch or Tunisian crochet:
- introduction to tools - Tunsian crochet hook
- practice making a foundation chain and working the basic stitch - knit and purl
- learn how to use knit and purl to crochet a basic knit and purl pattern
- learn how to increase and decrease stitches in Afghan Stitch or Tunisian Crochet to make lace pattern
- learn how to crochet cable pattern
- finishing techiques: cast off, weave in ends, and and adding edging etc
Throughout the course, students will work on a variety of stitches and patterns, and apply the techniques to knit simple hats, scarves, shawls and bags etc.
